Product Overview
Metallic Tissue Paper is lightweight thin wrapping tissue with shimmering metallic luster, built on MF/MG tissue base. Supplied in industrial jumbo rolls, small rolls and custom flat sheet, designed for luxury gift box inner lining, high-end product interleaving, flower wrapping, brand gift packaging and festival decorative crafts.
Different from thick metallic cardboard for box surface lamination, metallic tissue is ultra-thin, soft and highly drapeable. It is available in two mainstream production technologies:
Metallic pigment coated tissue:
Metallic pigment mixed in water-based coating directly applied on tissue base, no plastic film lamination.Vacuum metallized tissue:
Ultra-thin aluminum vapor deposited onto tissue substrate, bright mirror metallic sheen.Available grammage: 17g – 30g. Standard colors: metallic gold, silver, rose gold, champagne, holographic silver. Custom Pantone metallic color matching for bulk orders. Supports gravure printing for brand logo and simple patterns.

✅ Optional Color-Fixed Treatment Color-fixed grade available to avoid color bleeding or metallic pigment transfer under pressure or humid environment.

Pigment coated version: add top sealing varnish to lock metallic particles. Vacuum metallized type has minimal flaking.

Color transfer to wrapped goods
Select color-fixed grade. Moisture & compression bleeding test before shipment.

Shipping & Logistics Recommendations
Jumbo metallic tissue rolls packed with thick paper tube core, edge guards and waterproof film, avoid moisture absorption which weakens coating adhesion. Flat sheets packed with hardboard interlayer + moisture-proof PE bags to prevent compression and surface abrasion. Store in dry, ventilated warehouse. High humidity will cause metallic coating peeling or dulling. Avoid heavy compression. Stack height ≤1.5m. Bulk export orders support 5-layer reinforced pallet packaging for long sea freight. Material composition declaration available for EU PPWR. 24-hour after-sales support for packaging application and quality issues.
